On Round 8 (Saturday 28 November), we’re supporting the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign and joining sporting organisations across our community in taking a stand against violence against women.
We’re encouraging everyone in our Saturday community to wear orange during Round 8 to show their support for a future where all women are safe, respected and equal. 🧡
Sport has the power to bring people together, create a sense of belonging and drive positive change. By celebrating participation and promoting respect, we can help create a sporting community where everyone feels safe and included.
The 16 Days of Activism runs from Wednesday 25 November to Thursday 10 December. Together, let’s stand for respect and help build a community free from gender-based violence.
