We’re thrilled to celebrate Kelly Haynes from the Frankston District Netball Association (FDNA) a truly deserving recipient of the Contribution to Coaching Award!
Kelly is a lifelong member of FDNA who has done it all, player, umpire, coach, and visionary leader. Her dedication to coaching and developing future netballers has made a lasting impact across the Peninsula and beyond.
Her inclusive and empowering approach continues to inspire athletes and coaches at every level, from grassroots to the elite VNL environment.
Off the court, Kelly is known for her mentorship and innovation. She continually finds new ways to grow the game. From launching income-generating coaching programs and new competitions to introducing weekly match play for representative teams, inclusive clinics for boys and players with disabilities, and tournaments for Masters and Waves teams.
Kelly’s creativity, leadership, and kindness have driven meaningful growth in participation and opportunity within the FDNA community. She’s not only a respected figure within our stadium but also a role model whose passion and vision embody the true spirit of netball.
