The Frankston District Netball Association (FDNA) has been proudly recognised as Netball Victoria’s Association of the Year, celebrating its outstanding contribution to the sport and the wider community.
A progressive, inclusive, and community-focused organisation, FDNA continues to set the benchmark for excellence in netball. Each week, more than 400 teams take the court at its state-of-the-art facility, from Woolworths NetSetGo through to Walking Netball, showcasing the association’s commitment to providing opportunities for players of all ages and abilities.
Working closely with Netball Victoria, FDNA plays a pivotal role in delivering major events, piloting innovative programs, and strengthening pathways from grassroots to elite levels, including through its partnership with the Peninsula Waves.
Beyond the game, FDNA is a champion for health, wellbeing, sustainability, and social responsibility, ensuring that netball continues to be a driving force for positive community impact. Guided by strong leadership, robust governance, and a passionate team of volunteers and staff, FDNA continues to empower women and girls, foster inclusion, and inspire the next generation of netballers.
Congratulations to everyone at FDNA – this achievement reflects your dedication, innovation, and unwavering commitment to growing the game we love. 💙🏐
